Jo joins Everton on loan

Manchester City have been culling their squad with Sturridge , Jacobsen , Nuno Valente and Andy van der Meyde seeing the exits.

Now they have made another addition to the list by loaning out Brazilian striker Jo to Everton.

Jo who joined the Merseysiders in the winter transfer window made 12 appearances for the club and netted 5.

His tenure with City hasn't been upto the mark as was expected with his transfer fee of £18million from CSKA Moscow as he just scored 1 goal for the Mancs.

Everton are still to confirm on the status of the deal but manager David Moyes had earlier stated of their inability to sign Jo on a permanent basis.

Jo is with the rest of the Everton squad in Scotland for pre-season training camp.
