Wilshere extends Arsenal contract

Hours after Aaron Ramsey extended his contract with Arsenal, another youngster Jack Wilshere has decided to stick to the Gunners.

The 17 year old made his debut for Arsenal in September at a tender age of 16 against Blackburn and he went on to make eight appearances for the club.

Wenger sees him as an investment for the future.

He even scored for the club in the Carling Cup against Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium.

The English youth player plays as a creative midfielder although Wenger has used him on either flanks as well.
