Chelsea sign Sturridge from Man City

Daniel Sturridge has signed for Chelsea after rejecting an offer for an extension from Manchester City.

There has been no reported settlement between the clubs over the transfer fees and this looks set to be decided by a tribunal but experts predict the price could be around £5million.

The contract has been signed for a period of four years at Stamford Bridge.

He had also been linked to Aston Villa and West Ham United but Chelsea were clear runners since the start.

The 19 year old scored four goals for City in the previous campaign for City with majority of the times coming in as a substitute.
