Ramsey extends contract with Arsenal

Arsenal have tied youngster Aaron Ramsey for the future by extending his contract.

The 18 year old midfielder arrived to the Emirates Stadium last year from Cardiff City in a £5million transfer deal.

He's been part of Wengers set up over the year and has shown his ability by scoring one goal in the Champions League and making 22 appearances throughout the season.

Gunners have the ability to turn a youngster into a star and the same can be said about Ramsey who has been part of his country's national side(Wales) as well.

Wenger showed his sheer delight on the development and had this to say to the official website :

We're delighted that Aaron has signed a new long-term contract.

He made a very good contribution in his first season and he showed that he is a very intelligent player with great quality.

He is still only 18 and we're really looking forward to seeing him develop with us in the forthcoming years.
