Wolves promoted to Premiership

Wolverhampton Rovers have qualified for the next season of English Premiership with their 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers.

This would be their second spell in the Premiership.They last played in 2003-04 and lasted only a single season.

The wolves deserved the automatic promotion as they have been top of the Championship table since October.The main reason for their complete overhaul is touted as their manager, Mick Mcarthy who took over at the beginning of the 2006/07 season and failed to qualify that season losing in the playoffs followed by losing out by a single spot in the next season.However things got brighter and prettier for the club this season as they clinched automatic berth.

Hope they last more than one season next time around...
