Voronin to return to Anfield

Liverpool's on loan striker Andriy Voronin looks set to return to Liverpool at the end of the season.

The Ukrainian player was on loan to Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga for the whole season where he has scored 11 goals from 20 appearances.

The Berlin based club were expected to close the deal with Liverpool to acquire the services of the player but the deal is believed to have broken down momentarily as the German club assess their qualification status for the next years' Champions League.

Voronin had this to say :
"Liverpool made a good offer which Hertha did not accept. It is a shame that it may not go through.

"I have already ordered the boxes and am moving out of the apartment within a month-and-a-half."

Most certainly Liverpool don't need another striker with N'gog,Torres,Babel although if media reports are to be believed both N'gog and Babel aren't happy with their situation at the Merseyside club.
