Zambrotta to AC Milan
AC Milan have confirmed the signing of former Juventus defender,Gianluca Zambrotta for an undisclosed fee and period.
Zambrotta had been part of Barcelona squad since 2006 when Juventus were scrapped to Serie B following the matchfixing allegations.AC Milan had also shown interest in two other Barcelona players,Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o after the club failed to secure a champions league berth.
AC Milan needed to strengthen the squad following the release of veteran Brazilian duo of Cafu and Serginho.
Zambrotta is currently with Italian squad preparing for Euro 2008 in Austria-Switzerland.
