Delap extends contract at Stoke

Stoke City have extended Rory Delap's contract until 2011.

The long throw specialist was earlier under contract till 2010 but now has penned a one year extension at the Britannia stadium.

Speaking to the official website, Delap said :

I'm delighted to sign for an extra year.

I said before that I'd like to stay here for as long as I can, and for as long as I feel fit

I think we exceeded everyone's expectations last year, apart from our own, and we've got to do it all again next season.
