Sven goes to Mexico
Former Manchester City and England manager,Sven Goran Erikkson has been confirmed as the new coach of Mexico national team.
Sven had parted ways some days back with the Eastland club and had been one of the candidates for the job along with the current Portugal manager,Luis Felipe Scolari.
The decision was unanimous as one selection committee official stated.
Sven replaces Hugo Sanchez who had earlier been sacked over the disappointment of Mexico not qualifying for Olympics 2008.Sven's task is now to take Mexico to South Africa for the World Cup in 2010.
I think he can do a good job with the Mexican national team as he has great credentials with whichever place he goes.
