Match 4 : Germany vs Poland : Report

Poland had never beaten their arch rivals,Germany in their previous 15 meetings and had drawn four of them.Would this be the change that they were looking for after Germany had not won since they lifted the Euro Cup in 1996?
Interestingly,Germany's most influential and attacking players Lukas Podolski and Miroslav Klose both were born in Poland.
The game was a great watch.(Although I kept switching to Pearl Harbor which was interesting as well!)Klose should have opened the proceedings after great control and beating the offside trap only to slide it for Gomez who could/should have done better.Although I feel Klose should have taken it himself.
Gomez looked rusty and so did Klose with attacks coming from left and right in the form of Podolski and Fritz.
The first goal came in the form of Poland born Lukas Podolski who had the easy task of putting the ball in open goal after a clever pass from Klose.

The second goal also came from Podolski even though there was luck written all over it after Klose missed his shot and Podolski hit a thunderous volley in the back of the net.

A few minutes later Ballack hit a great shot which was a great save by the Polish keeper Boruc.I would try to get the clip of that as well.Poland however lacked in the crossing aspect when they were in the final third which probably was the difference in the scoreline.
Germany are off to a great start, maybe equal to what the Portuguese managed to do to the Turks.

Ballack was excellent. Podolski justified his selection while Gomez was off-color.
