AC Milan might play Champions League

Romanian side Steaua Bucharest are on the verge of being removed from the Champions league on the grounds of fixing matches in their domestic league.
Earlier Porto(read here) had been barred from playing in the Champions league too but that ruling has been challenged.
Steaua had paid $2.6million to the other side to throw away the match enabling Bucharest to win the league.Their place would be offered to Rapid Bucarest who might deny the offers, reports suggest.Neither do Dinamo, who are the next team in standings.
In this case, the vacant place might go to AC Milan who weren't able to qualify as their finished fifth in the Serie-A.
Rossoneri would hope that they get the place.
